South Downs MTB Day Out

Living in London and not owning a mountain bike, Monica Catalano was desperate to escape the big city and enjoy a day of MTB like she would do back home in the USA. We organised a hire bike and collected her from the train station and Monica's wee day out was the perfect tonic to escape the big smoke. Sit back and enjoy this awesome guest blog about one of our South Downs monthly rides.

How MTB helps my anxiety

With the current movement to raise awareness about Mental Health, I have wanted to get behind it for a while and do my bit to show how mountain biking (MTB) has helped me battle my demons and live my life how I want to. So, when Sean from Marmalade MTB asked me to write a guest blog, it seemed like the perfect opportunity and the push I needed to pick up the pen and write about how MTB helps with my anxiety.

The Gap Brecon Beacons

The Gap is a true UK classic. The British Isles in our eyes has the finest natural mountain biking anywhere in the world. The ancient trails that festoon and connect the national parks and were the highways of yester year now provide the perfect MTB adventures. One of our favourites, this ride a short drive from Cardiff and the M4 delivers the best of the Brecon Beacons.
